After a two-day intensive, our WSET II class exams are on the way to London to be graded!
Twenty students, who travelled from all across Idaho and Montana, qualified to enroll in our most recent WSET Level 2 Award in Wines program! Representing an array of Hayden departments, these soon-to-be wine grads were able to explore wine regions all over the world and learn about principal grape varieties through both tastings and theory.
Kat McClaskey, who is in the third stage of certifying as a Master of Wine and the founder of House of Wine, guided the class through sixteen hours of in-class learning. From perfect pairings to the art of winemaking to over 25+ grape varieties and the geographical indicators that influence their style and quality!
A big thank you to Kat for her time and expertise! And thank you so much to Scott, our Director of Sales Education, for continuing to support our company’s belief in ongoing personal and educational development.
We are always so proud and grateful to see our Hayden family as they continue to learn and grow as masters in the beverage industry!
